Palgotta Metal Pvt Ltd is one of the most prominent stockists and suppliers of high quality Hastelloy C276 sheets in India. This nickel-moly-chromium superalloy is designed to provide highest resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking (SCC). It provides reliable resistance to oxidizing and reducing chemical conditions, notably to strong chloride ions and sulfide stress cracking.
Being a top Hastelloy sheet distributor, our quality materials provide major benefits like excellent mechanical strength at high temperatures, precise formability and better weldability. These excellent quality sheets are stable from cryogenic conditions at sub-zero temperatures to 2000°F (1093°C).
Hastelloy C276 nickel base alloy sheets resist aggressive chemicals. It is resistant to intergranular attack, localized pitting and stressed structural cracking. It is the most versatile standard nickel alloy. This sheet offers a high tensile and yield capability across extreme heat boundaries compared to traditional stainless steel.
Features of Hastelloy C276 Sheet

What are the Advantages of Hastelloy C276 Sheet?
Choosing materials from an established Hastelloy C276 sheet manufacturer provides major operating advantages. This metal acts as a barrier to rapid wall thinning due to aggressive corrosion fatigue or continuous mechanical erosion. Its chemical matrix offsets severe crevice assault in stagnant solutions. It reduces maintenance costs, eliminates harmful leaks in the process line and extends the life of the component.
Quality Testing & Material
At Palgotta Metal Pvt Ltd, quality verification is embedded into our supply chain. Our sheets undergo rigorous destructive and non-destructive examinations, including:
Every batch is dispatched alongside comprehensive Mill Test Certificates (MTC) conforming to EN 10204 Type 3.1 standards, ensuring full heat traceability.
Manufacturing Process
At the beginning of the production process trace impurities are removed by vacuum induction melting (VIM) or electroslag remelting (ESR). The alloy ingots are hot rolled at precise temperature ranges to establish initial thickness parameters. Cold rolling produces accurate thin gauge sheets. They are then solution annealed and directly quenched to ensure homogeneous grain structure, good mechanical characteristics and perfect surface flatness.

They are used in the manufacture of very robust parts for chemical reactors, flue gas desulfurization scrubbers, pollution control equipment and maritime pipelines exposed to aggressive chloride environments.
They are usually manufactured, tested and certified according to standard global specifications like ASTM B575, ASME SB575 etc.
Yes. It is one of the few structural alloys with exceptional resistance to boiling solutions of hydrochloric acid of different concentrations.
Standard sheets range from small gauge foils of roughly 0.3mm (0.012in) to intermediate thicknesses of 4.0mm (0.16in) and then into heavier plate categories.
The fundamental difference is the thickness . Sheets are thinner ( generally under 5mm ) and are intended for cold-forming or deep drawing . Plates are thicker and are intended for strong pressure-bearing confinement .
Yes. They are easily weldable by conventional processes like TIG, MIG and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and do not need post-weld heat treatment.
A trusted supplier will provide certification of chemical composition, accuracy of heat figures, structural characteristics are not compromised and traceability is robust to avoid field failures.
